Preorder & stock

What the preorder tag means for your delivery date, and why our stock numbers look the way they do.

What does “preorder” mean?

That item is made to order rather than taken off a shelf. You buy it now, we build it, and production takes about 2–3 weeks before your order is ready to ship. We'll email you once it's on its way.

Nothing further is charged after checkout. Shipping and duty are already in the price you paid.

I ordered a preorder item together with something in stock. What happens?

Each order ships once, as a single parcel, so everything travels together once the preorder item is finished. If you'd like the in-stock items sooner, place them as a separate order.

How long until it ships if nothing is marked preorder?

About 7 working days from our workshop, then DHL air freight tracked to your door. The full timeline is on Shipping & delivery.

The stock number looks strange

Our stock figures lag behind what is actually on the bench. A low, odd, or negative-looking number does not mean we can't build yours. If an item isn't marked preorder, it ships within about 7 working days.

Can you tell me when a sold-out item is back?

Yes — use the notify button on the product page and you'll be emailed the moment it is available again. We don't use that address for anything else unless you ask us to.

Can I cancel a preorder while I'm waiting?

If we haven't started building it, tell us and we'll sort it out. Once it is in production it is already cut and machined for you, so please ask us any questions before you order rather than after.
